Lifting services
We deliver complete lifting solutions from simple crane hire to more complex contract lifts - with the right equipment, the right personnel, and decades of hands-on expertise.
We're a family-run business based in Oxfordshire, and we've built our reputation on turning up, thinking on our feet, and getting difficult jobs done safely. Whether you need a single lift or a fully managed operation, we'll come to you, assess the job, and put together a solution that works.

What we do
Not every job is a building site. Sometimes you just need something heavy moved that can't be done any other way — a hot tub into a back garden, a garden room lifted over a house, a large stone feature placed with precision. We carry out single lifts for homeowners across Oxfordshire, and we're used to working in residential settings where access is tight and the surroundings need to be respected. No job is too straightforward.
When you appoint us for a contract lift, we take full responsibility for the lifting operation from start to finish. That means we provide the crane, the Appointed Person, the lift plan, and the supervision — so you're not carrying the liability.
This is the right choice for any project where you want a professional, managed approach rather than simply hiring equipment and working it out yourself.
Dismantling heavy structures requires the same level of planning and expertise as a complex lift — sometimes more. We carry out specialist structural dismantling across a range of project types, including:
- Steel frames and structural elements
- Modular and temporary buildings
- Industrial plant, tanks, and equipment
- Fire escapes and external structures
- Bespoke and one-off structural removals
We handle the full process — safe dismantling, decommissioning, and removal — and we can advise on the most efficient approach from the outset.
Glazing installations demand precision. Our specialist equipment allows us to handle large structural glass panels safely and accurately — whether for curtain walling, structural glazing, roof lights, or replacement panels.
We work regularly with glazing and curtain walling contractors across the region, and we're experienced at lifting in restricted access situations where standard approaches won't work.
Some organisations need lifting done regularly — and managing it piecemeal is inefficient and inconsistent. As your principal lifting contractor, we become your dedicated lifting partner: the single point of contact for all lifting requirements across your sites or operations. We get to know your projects, your programme, and your standards, so every lift is handled without the overhead of going back to market each time. It's a relationship built on trust, and it suits contractors, developers, and facilities teams who value having a reliable, experienced team on call and accountable.
Some lifts don't fit a standard brief — awkward shapes, unusual weights, restricted access, or items that need to be moved rather than simply lifted. We're at our best in these situations.
If you're not sure it can be done, call us. We'll take a look, ask the right questions, and come back with a practical solution.

Our equipment
We maintain a versatile fleet so we can match the right equipment to your job, not the other way around.
Our crane fleet ranges from a mini spider crane (fitting through a standard door) up to a 40 tonne mobile crane. Our Kato 13 tonne city crane is particularly good at getting into places other cranes can't — making it the go-to choice for city centre work, confined courtyards, and residential jobs where access is genuinely difficult. All available for hire or contract lifts.
We also have a truck-mounted telescopic radio-controlled HIAB with a lifting capacity of 2.5 tonnes at 18 metres, plus trailers to suit a range of haulage requirements.
- Forklifts
- Telehandlers
- Cherry pickers
- Scissor lifts
Also available to hire:
• Genie Lifts
• Block grabs
• Concrete Skips
• Man baskets
• Lifting beams/spreader beams
• Other useful lifting equipment
Qualified personnel
Safe lifting depends as much on the people as the equipment. We have the full range of qualified personnel in-house:
- Appointed Persons — responsible for planning and managing lifting operations
- Lift Supervisors
- Banksmen
- Slingers and Signallers
We'll send a representative to site before work starts to make sure the lift plan is right, the access is understood, and nothing comes as a surprise on the day.
